Welcome to Penley Photo, a husband-and-wife duo passionate about capturing love stories, beautiful moments, and unforgettable memories. I’m Amanda, and alongside my husband Hans, we combine our skills in photography and videography to create timeless keepsakes for couples and clients around the world.

With nearly a decade of experience in the creative industry—and an even longer love for film photography—my journey began in a charming town just north of Atlanta, Georgia. In 2016, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my career - in the advertising and creative space. Currently I’m leading creative direction for RYZE superfoods!

Photography and design have always been central to my work, from art-directing photoshoots to shooting a commercial for Red Bull. Naturally, my passion for film photography and creative services became a way to unwind and connect with the world around me. Over the years, I’ve fallen in love with the art and craft of film photography, collecting over 12 cameras, from 35mm to medium format, and teaching myself how to use lighting and form to tell a story.

Hans and I eloped in Greece, spending a day traveling to picturesque locations with a photographer before a simple, intimate ceremony. That experience was transformative, showing us how incredible it is to capture the joy of love and adventure through photography.

Now, as Penley Photo, we bring that same passion and energy to engagements, weddings, and special moments. Whether it’s through my eye for detail or Hans’s knack for video storytelling, we’re here to create stunning visuals and lasting memories.
